new super mario bros u actually looks pretty decent

it's the first 2d mario game in YEARS to not take place in the mushroom kingdom ( sort of )

bowser took over peach's castle instead which probably means that the usual first world is the last world in this game

the graphics like the background are really fucking amazing to stare at

there's a shitload of elements from super mario world

you can actually get rid of the toads and use your miis so you can technically play as wario, waluigi and a bunch of other characters in this ( sort of )

the bosses look original in a way

there's a few new modes for speed runs and shit

and hopefully online gameplay

i kind of have high hopes for this game

too bad the wii u is fucking terrible
