Created in December of 2011, Jwist was a crummy site which was essentially an even worse version of Roblox. Or so the Roblox forums said it was. As with all sites that are anything like Roblox, the entire forum almost immediately jumped to the call and began spamming and trolling the site en masse, in this instance effectively causing a repeat of the JustKidFun debacle a year and a half earlier.
The Raid
Unlike most of the things Roblox raided however, Jwist was made with stone age technology, and there were no character limits for player names, and special symbols could be used in names. Before long a number of the raiders had Zalgo names so massive that they almost completely broke the forums of Jwist. As the raid reached its climax, amsk8r gave OT instructions on how to effectively DDoS Jwist with a measly auto refresher extension for Chrome. Within minutes of this, Jwist went down for the first of many times that day.
Nobody really seems to know what happened after that point, aside from much rejoicing in OT. Raiding apparently continued on for another few days after the first raid, and supposedly Jwist went down for maintenance a few times during those few days. Supposedly Jwist was also redirected to a shock site for awhile.
Aftermath
In the aftermath of the raid, most of OT rejoiced, others pointed out how utterly retarded the raid was, just like the last few times OT raided something, but as usual these party crashers were ignored. Jwist was also put into the Roblox filters, along with Buildism, CubeBomb, and WorldBlocky.
Jwist itself was eventually shut down, apparently. Nobody knows when though. The site now redirects to their terrible hosting service.
