i found out first hand it works on win vista because i was trying to patch uxtheme and decided i'd do the logical thing entirely delete the file which forced me to do a system restore

pretty sure it works on windows XP and not sure about win 7 but knowing microsoft you could still do it. it also deletes all fonts except wingdings
