why youtube changes its theme all the time

they have to keep looking modernized, over the past 8 years the way the internet looks has changed vastly; it's gone from mostly basic HTML where the flashiest thing you could accomplish was making your cursor flash rainbow colors to soft gradients and big pillowy pushie buttons and other shit. if YT kept the layout it had back in 2005 it would be laughed at and everyone would just use dailymotion or some shit

now shut the fuck up and stop complaining christ almighty

they still didn't have to change the channel layouts though

Yeah, I have no issue with them modernizing, it's changing how the site is used that annoys me.

I still miss the old channels, they could have tried to minimize how much they changed it while still improving the looks.

they changed channel layouts to correspond with new google policy (take note that YT isn't directly google, just a branch off of it that is managed by them), something like not enough privacy raping tracking pixels
