FIRST OF ALL I'd like to say I ultimately DESPISE the CoD franchise and everyone who likes it
but you all say "HURR HURR THE NEW CALL OF DUTY IS JUST LIKE THE OLD ONE IT JUST HAS NEW GUNS"
well pokefags all they do with pokemon is make better graphics and throw in a few new pokemans

New Pokemon releases do not simply add those couple of things, although they keep the gameplay true they always add in things to expand upon it, especially in the place where it counts most; competitive battling. They'll carefully add in new moves, new held items, update stats and so on to decentralise the obviously rising metagame with each new release. It's not a matter of 'adding new pokemon' but 'updates to the endgame'.

yes, and CoD makes changes to it's games, too.
