A ban may appear like this:
12/9/2012
MM/DD/YYYY
That means that the ban is:
9/12/2012
DD/MM/YYYY
This is due to forumotion's idiotic banning system.
Stop crying about it.

12/9/2012
12 is the number of months your ban is
9 is the number of days
2012 is the number of years
so if you're banned 12/9/2012 it means you're banned for 12 months, 9 days and 2012 years
